Baduzzi's Italian-inspired menu and waterfront location called for planting that felt generous and Mediterranean. We used trailing foliage and bold tropical forms to blur the line between inside and outside, giving diners the sense of eating in a lush courtyard.
The Wynyard Quarter setting means strong light and salt air, so species were chosen specifically for their tolerance of these coastal conditions while keeping the abundant, layered look the restaurant's designers envisioned.
